Christmas is Right Around the Corner

I can finally see the light at the end of the 'quilting customer quilts for Christmas' tunnel! Three more (or maybe four) and I'll be done until after Christmas! Needless to say, life has been very hectic, but we also had lots of fun moments.

Since I last posted, Simon turned 9 months. Where has the time gone?

We had our yearly outing to Christkindl Market in Chicago. It was bitter cold, but the Gluehwein and the Schnitzel are always good!

I also went to my annual December retreat at the Hampton Inn to finish all those Christmas projects; four days of sewing, laughter, cameradery and good food!

And, last but not least, Sandy, Deb and I went on an outing to attend the taping of ABC 7's Windy City Life. They taped a life show, and they taped segments for the next day's show. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

All in all it has been a very busy 2013!
