A couple of weeks ago we wanted to see ourselves what everybody was talking about. The 'Flowers on Hanson Road'. Everything was blooming early and the weather was beautiful. Enjoy:

April Hampton Retreat

Yes, we are at retreat again at the Hampton Inn in Aurora. I finished piecing a T-Shirt quilt for a customer, a baby quilt, and now I'm working on a ?%7#@ quilt, that I have big problems with! Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. We watched 'Downton Abbey' in our conference retreat room. Louis hooked up the big screen to Lourdes' computer. Cindy bought the First Season. What a perfect way to watch it! Then back to sewing again.

Spring

Spring is definitely here. The lilac bushes and crabapple trees are blooming. This usually happens on Mother's Day! We are 6 weeks ahead of schedule.

Unfortunately I can't say the same thing of my quilting business. I'm feverishly working on customer quilts and T-shirt quilts for graduation.
