We all arrived at the Hampton Inn this morning, carrying fabrics, patterns, sewing machines, food, snacks, etc. etc. The computers and IPads are online, we're ready to order fabrics if we need to. Orders were put in to the local quilt shop. Winks was still working there and brought all the fabrics with her. And dinner too (Olive Garden salad and bread sticks). Louis, our go to guy at the Hampton Inn kept checking on us every 15 minutes to make sure we had everything, from ironing boards to tables, ice, coffee, tea, etc. etc.
The weather is getting hot, the only hot thing at our retreat are the steam irons. Turn down that air conditioner.
Dan's bus is leaving, I'm ready to roll.
