Baby and Wedding Showers, Graduation

Quilts keep coming in in rapid order for all those baby and bridal showers, and high school and college graduations are fast approaching. Every once in a while we sneak in a quick trip to see Simon. If just the rain and snow would stop! We had over 5 inches of rain last week, and it's raining again. This week is busy, quilt pick ups and drop offs, longarm bee, and two workshops to teach.

Snow in March - Again

It looks like the rain is taking care of the snow we had on Tuesday, 8 inches, in March!!!!! Who really wants that? Wednesday the sun came out, and it looked so pretty. But, enough is enough.

Happy Snow Day

GO HAWKS!

What a day! It has been snowing non stop all day, and it is supposed to snow till midnight. I stayed in my 'studio', quilted Debbie's quilt, and finished piecing a T-shirt quilt for a customer. It's going on the machine tomorrow. I'm hoping to be able to go to Wool Bee in the morning though. Those snow plow drivers will most likely work all night.

It's three more days of teaching for Fran, then she'll be home waiting for the baby to arrive! Due date is next Tuesday the 12th. Maybe it will it be a St. Patrick's Day baby? I'm still trying to finish the knitted blankee for the baby before he arrives.

Dan's 32nd Birthday

I have to post pictures of Dan's 32nd birthday before March arrives. We had two wonderful dinners at Olive Garden with family and old friends Rudi and Anne to celebrate his birthday. Olive Garden is his favorite restaurant! Happy Birthday Dan!

Brunch at Gaby's House

Gaby invited the German girls for  brunch at her house! It was a special occasion. Gaby's grandson was born two weeks ago, and we were  eager to meet  Christian! He is soo cute, but we all were surprised how little he was. He weight 7 pounds and 5 ounces at birth which is a wonderful birth weight. BUT, we all had forgotten how little babies are. . Cruz, his wonderful Mom, let us hold him one at a time. He never cried or even opened his eyes.
